The premiere of ABC'S Glass House is Monday night following The Bachelorette. This show is very, very similar to CBS Big Brother. It is so similar to Big Brother that CBS filed with the courts to have the show cancelled.The judge did not grant their request so as of now the show will go on as planned.
The show consist of players living under the same roof with no outside contact with society. Their every move will be followed by cameras located in the house (Does this sound familiar). The only difference I see in the two shows is that in Glass House, it will be the fans who have control over which game contestants will be competing in and who gets voted off, unlike Big Brother who let their contestant cast votes for who they think should leave.
I think if you were going to copy another program, you shouldn't make it so identical because viewers may be turned off by it. The only good thing I see coming out of this is that they are letting fans decide the outcome, sort of like Dancing With The Stars, which may bring views with it being on a Monday night.
Over the next couple of weeks we will find out if viewers will give this show a chance. What do you think of this show? By the way, the producer of Glass House is a former producer of Big Brother 2....Interesting!
