The Bachelorette Who Did Emily Send Home On June 18 2012

Last night on The Bachelorette, Emily pulls a couple of bold and surprising moves, sending 2 people home.

Emily and the guys were in beautiful Croatia and Emily got right to it by extending a solo date with Travis. Before Travis knew he was going on the date, he was saying how important it was that he would get this one on one date.

On their date Travis and Emily spent the day walking the cobblestone streets stopping to dance and enjoy some ice cream. Travis seem the perfect gentlemen and very easy to talk too, but Emily wasn't there looking for just a friend. After their afternoon date, Emily planned a romantic setting in an attempt to bring out the romance in Travis to find if there was a spark between the two.

At the dinner the conversation with Travis was friendly and easy as usual, but Emily just could not feel any romance with him so she ends up not giving him a rose. She admits to him that their relationship couldn't get past the friendship foundation they had built and sends him home. Of course,on the way to the airport, just like all the rest of the guys, we had to watch and listen to them cry and explain how it hurt so bad and how they could just envision Emily as their wife.

Next the guys had a group date with Emily and their attire was a Kilt and a muscle shirt. The guys were to partcipate in a couple of sporting Competition for a bravery trophy and a possible rose from Emily. The first competition was Archery. The second game was  Highland Game log tossing. These logs were HUGE and whoever threw the logs the farthest won. Emily asks who wants to be first and it seem that nobody wanted to be the first man being sized up, no matter how many muscles a few of them had. 25 year old Chris decides to take the offer of being the first to go.He gets disqualified from the contest because you at least have to throw it a certain distant which he didn't do. Sean winds up winning the contest. He flips the huge log with such force that it actually spilt the log. Emily was definitely impressed. The third and final contest was a tug of war. Names were drawn oou of a hat by Emily and whoever that name was got to choose who they would tug against. Chris name is drawn and for some odd reason he chooses the biggest guy there and winds of losing badly.

Emily now has to make a decision on who won the bravery trophy. Her choice was Chris, who by the way got embarassed in both games. Emily stated it was not about how big your muscles were in this game and Chris showed the most courage by not being afraid. She gives Chris the trophy and a rose.

Emily gets ready for her second solo date and the lucky guy this time was Ryan. Even though Ryan has this southern charm about himself, he still comes off as arrogant. They have a lovely day together laughing as Ryan drives them around. He once again call Emily a trophy wife, which Emily doesn't care for much. It's time now to prepare for a nice romantic dinner.

At the dinner Ryan confidence is on cloud nine. He explains to Emily what he means when calling her a trophy wife. He says it's what he sees on the inside of her and this makes Emily feel better. He then proceed to start naming at least 12 qualities he look for in a woman. After naming his list, Emily said that she didn't hear having a loving family, which is at the top of her list. She tells Ryan that she don't think they want the same out of a relationship and she would not be able to give him a rose. Ryan did not see this coming at all and all he could say was how shocked he was. He spent about 10 minutes trying to convince her that she was making a bad decision, but Emily stood her ground and dismissed him. At least he didn't cry on his way out so thumbs up for that.

At the cocktail event before the ring ceremony, Emily said that Doug and John was on the bubble. She has a one on one with them before making her decision. John finally opens up. He shows her a very private picture he has been keeping in his wallet. It was a picture of his grandparents and he told her the story of how much they were in love and how he wanted the same. She then has her one on one with Doug and tells him even though she know he's a humble guy she likes to be pursued sometimes. He is always putting others before him and Emily wants him to start thinking about himself sometimes.

At the ring ceremony, Emily hands out 4 out of the 5 roses there. The last two contestants fighting for that last rose was Doug and John. Emily walks off the set to have a conversation with the host. She then comes back without a rose and tell them that she apologized and couldn't pass out the last rose. The host then return to Emily with her request and that is 2 roses on the platter. She gives them both a rose and chose not to send anyone home.

So, the two that got sent home for this week were T.ravis and Ryan
