Did Lebron James Choke At The NBA Finals

Many people have been asking the question, Did LeBron James choke in the NBA Finals? I don't think choke is the right word for it. Our expectation of LeBron was very high and anything less than a championship was going to be a failure.LeBron is a very good player, but I think he is over-rated as a basketball player. Don't get me wrong, he is very good, but has flaws in his game that if not corrected will never be a great player. What he needs to do is take a lesson from Michael Jordan, who had a similar game when he first came into the league. Michael was basically a highlight reel. He was going to the goal and dunk on somebody each and every night. But when Michael faced great defensive teams, like Detroit, you can see the flaw in his game because he was not a great jump-shooter. In 1991 we saw a different Michael Jordan. One, who in the off-season developed a low post, mid-range shot which made him a very dangerous player. He became , in my mind, the greatest player of all time and led his team to 6 NBA Championships.Dirk Nowitski is another player that was only known for his outside shot. This year Dirk developed a low-post game and look at the results.Lebron in this off-season needs to really look at developing a low-post game. He is 6'8 and can dominate any guard in the league because of his size. In the series against Dallas we see Dallas going into a zone defense, which made Lebron become a jump-shooter, and because his shot was off ,we see his confidence level just go out the window as he kept passing the ball even when he had wide-open looks. So, did Lebron choke against the Mavericks. I don't think so. I think great coaching by Dallas exposed LeBrons game when they went to that zone defense.Develope the inside game and win a couple championships and this will all be forgotten. Can't wait for next season.
