Casey Anthony Is Aquitted Of Murder

Yesterday, a verdict of not guilty in the Casey Anthony trial drew a loud outcry from people all over the world."Tot Mom", as legal analyst Nancy Grace refer to her, can walk free on Thursday after her sentencing phase, for 4 counts of lying to investigators. So, the question is, did she get away with murder? We all have our opinions of why she was guilty/innocent of this terrible crime. The only thing that struck me was the deliberation only took 10 hours in a high profile trial that lasted weeks. The jury mind was made up in closing arguments, no question about it.There is no way you could have analyzed all of that evidence in that short period of time. So, what turned the jury off from the prosecution case? I believe it was the arrogance of the prosecutor himself that turned the jury away. He was so sure of himself. He was even caught laughing at the defense lawyer in closing arguments and the defense attorney let it be known. They had to be called to the sidebar by the judge. It only take one juror to be turned off, and a strong case from the prosecution can get thrown out of the window. But this was more than one juror. This was not a hung jury, but an aquittal.More than half believed the defense. Is it fair to Caylee if this was the case? Absolutely not. There will never be any justice for this child because, even if they come up with a camera that show Casey doing this murder, they can't do anything about it because it would be "double jeopardy".So, thursday if released, where does Casey go from here?I doubt it will be back to her parents home, because after all, her case was about blaming them.
Some people say this is the OJ Simpson trial all over again. We all know what happen there, don't we?Everyone thought a guilty sentence was going to be handed down because of all the physical evidence. The question is, who turned the jurors off? In my mind it was the racial lead detective name Mark Furman. A man who was caught lying on the witness stand about not using the "N word".The glove that he found did not match OJ Simpson hand and the prosecution case never recovered.
So, was justice done and a innocent woman will walk free come Thursday? We may not like it, but a jury of her peers say she will.
